The Churchill Scholarship is awarded annually by the Winston Churchill Foundation of the United States to 14 or 15 recent graduates of the more than one hundred participating US universities and colleges.

The scholarship is worth between $50,000 and $60,000 and
supports one year of graduate study at the University of Cambridge in
engineering, mathematics, or the biological and physical sciences.
Additionally, the Churchill Scholars all reside in the Churchill
College. The scholarship was first awarded to just three students in
1963, and there have been about 500 Churchill Scholars since then.
