Course aim
To present a selection of topics on advanced methodologies for solving evolutionary advection-diffusion-reaction partial differential equations, with emphasis on building blocks that constitute the bases for schemes of very high order of accuracy in both space and time.

- The HLLC solver for ideal and real materials (2 hours)
- The TV splitting. The basis and extensions (2 hours)
- The ADER framework (4 hours)
- Hyperbolization of parabolic equations via relaxation (1 hours)
- Wave speed estimates for CFL condition and HLL-type fluxes (1 hour)
