Biography

This is my fifth year in Cambridge as I have done my undergraduate degree here as well. Before joining the Centre for Doctoral Training, I have studied the Natural Sciences Tripos focussing on physics. I really enjoy physics and programming so I am very happy to be part of this program now. My research interest lies in multiscale modelling. Often a simulation focusses on processes at a certain length scale, e.g. the atomistic scale or the lengthscale where dislocation movements can be observed. My aim is to be able to run simulations looking at more than one length scale so it is possible to gain a deeper understanding of the processes involved. I am especially looking at electronic-atomistic-dislocation length scales.
